REEF surveyors will enjoy the fish diversity found in San Salvador, voted one of the best wall-diving locations in the Caribbean. The island, located in the southeastern Bahamas, is the tip of a submerged mountain that plunges more than 15,000 feet below the ocean's surface.
For this meeting we will be reading Into the Planet by Jill Heinerth. You can read more about this book on GoodReads.
We’re excited to resume our monthly Keys community social! The gathering will look a bit different this year. Seminars are on hold for now, but there will be plenty of opportunities to reconnect and socialize.
Each month‘s social will have a theme, with a few trivia questions you can choose answer to be entered into an opportunity drawing. This month's theme is World Oceans Day. We hope you can join us!
You're invited to participate in the second annual Fish Out of Water Virtual 5K!
Registration is open until May 28, 2021.
This derby is organized by the Rotary Club of Central Tortola.

Get ready for the race with this fun social time where you can meet your team and race mates, and get more details about the event.
You'll want a working webcam for this one if at all possible. (phone, tablet or computer all work well)
Hang out with your fellow fish geeks as we play a Jeopardy-style game about fish found in the Tropical Western Atlantic region. Host Christy Semmens is good for a story or two and a fun running commentary.
A special opportunity to join marine life author ("Caribbean Reef Life") Mickey Charteris as he shares his passion: marine invertebrates found in the Tropical Western Atlantic region. There will be no Cheat Sheet for this session.
Create your own ocean-inspired painting while enjoying a beverage at a beautiful oceanside venue. No prior experience needed is needed; local artist Brittany Parker will provide step by step guidance to help you create the Spotted Eagle Ray painting shown above!
Held annually on the last Friday in April, Give BIG for the Oceans is a way for the REEF community to come together and celebrate our collective impact on ocean conservation.
