REEF Marine Education & Conservation Interns and Lead Interns play an integral role in our daily operations, programs, events, and outreach. Since 1993, more than 150 young adults have interned with REEF and transitioned into careers all over the world, in the marine conservation field and beyond. REEF Intern Alumni have a special place in the organization, and we want to ensure that interns are able to remain engaged with REEF for years to come.

REEF Fest Intern Alumni Reunion
REEF Fest is an annual four-day celebration of marine conservation, held each fall in Key Largo, Florida. REEF Fest is open to the public, and all Intern Alumni are invited and encouraged to attend. During REEF Fest, Intern Alumni have the opportunity to scuba dive, attend seminars, see old friends and community members, and attend an exclusive Intern Alumni celebration. Connecting with REEF members, other Marine Education & Conservation Intern cohorts, and the REEF staff and board is a unique opportunity that only happens at REEF Fest. For more information about the event, visit the REEF Fest page.
